What a hire includes, how price and payment are
confirmed, and how to raise a problem with us.
What we hire
We hire outdoor camping equipment — tents, sleeping bags, sleeping mats,
camping chairs and related items — for an agreed rental period. The items in
your booking are the ones listed on your quote.
Price and payment
Prices are quoted in € per item per rental period, and the total for a
booking is set out on your quote for your dates and location. A quote is not a
confirmed booking until you have accepted it and we have confirmed payment
arrangements in writing. We do not publish standing per-item prices on this
site.
Collection, delivery and return
The method of collection or delivery, and of return, is the one named on
your quote, subject to availability for your location. Please read it before
confirming: the delivery leg, where it applies, is quoted separately.
Cancellation, changes and early return
Tell us before the rental period starts if you need to cancel, change the
dates or change the item list, and we will confirm in writing what your quote
terms allow. Terms differ by item and period, so they are stated on the quote
rather than as a single site-wide rule.
Condition, deposits and damage
Equipment is provided clean and checked and is expected back in the
condition it went out in, within the rental period. Where a deposit or a
damage charge applies to a booking, the amount and how it is handled are
stated on your quote for that booking — we do not publish a standard figure
here, because it depends on what is hired and for how long.
Using the equipment
The equipment is hired for camping use. It is not to be sub-let, sold on,
modified, or used outside the conditions the manufacturer sets. You are
responsible for looking after it during the rental period.
Problems and complaints
If something is wrong with the equipment when it reaches you, or with the
service, tell us straight away at
